Change: Nothing can grow or evolve without movement.

In my live in my Facebook Group, The Therapist Hub today, I spoke about Change

Catch the replay

An ancient Greek philosopher said: Change is the only constant in life

Change is an inherent part of our lives, and without it, growth and evolution wouldn’t be impossible.

Did you know that the average person undergoes a complete change in their body every 7 years?

We only have to look back in history to show the universal nature of change.

John F. Kenney said "Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future”

Albert Einstein said “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving”

George Bernard Shaw said: "Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything."

I know that change can be challenging and can often met with resistance.

Why do we resist change? Fear of the unknown, comfort in familiarity, or the perception of potential risks.

When we embrace change we can achieve personal growth, we can expand our perspectives, we create new opportunities.

Robin Sharma said “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end. Resisting it only prolongs the journey."

Deepak Chopra said: "Resistance to change is like holding your breath; it may feel comfortable for a while, but eventually, it suffocates you."

I love this one (unknown) "When you resist change, you are giving power to the past. Embrace change, and you give power to the future."

And "Change begins at the end of your comfort zone. Resisting change keeps you trapped within its confines." - Roy T. Bennett

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Resisting change keeps us stuck in the fall." - Nelson Mandela
