Threading is an ancient method of hair removal which originated in South Asia and Arabia. It is a method used mainly to shape the brows and remove unwanted hair from the upper lip and face. The procedure involves using a piece of 100% cotton thread which is twisted and pulled along the area of unwanted hair. The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it directly out from the follicle.
