Nano Needling Training Course / Nano-Pen
Nano-needling is a new type of meso-needling without any bleeding or pain.
The needling is more superficial; however, many more punctures are performed within the same length of time as a fractional meso treatment. We now know that the length of the 'needle' isn't important but the number of punctures is.
Nano-needling can be associated to meso-needling, but with 3 main differences:
• The length of the needle is shorter
• More punctures are made due to a higher number of needle
• The product is applied directly through the needle cartridge
To perform the treatment, we use a Nano-Pen with nano cartridges
• The needles on the cartridge are made of medical grade stainless steel in a circular disk shape
• Inside the cartridge sits the nano needles which 0.10 - 0.50mm in length
How does Nano Needling differ from Microneedling?
The Nano Pen contains a plate with "nano cones" that are extremely small and penetrate very superficially. It's been designed to simply deliver products into the skin and it can be used on clients that are sometimes contra-indicated to other delivery systems (especially electrical).
Micro-needling focuses primarily on collagen production, but whilst the channels are open we can deliver product into the skin. Micro-needling delivers and tightens the skin. So think of that as a 2 in 1 outcome.
With nano needling, the skin tightening etc. is coming from the ingredients in the solution.
Nano Needling Training Course:
This course is done as self-study on our online learning platform. It includes treatment videos. Once you have practiced on friends/family, you book in for a Zoom Observation where you will work on a model. This session can also be used for questions and answers.
Pre-requisite: We offer two Nano Needling Training Courses:
- Beginners need to have a facial qualification (a holistic facial qualification is excluded)
- Conversion course for those who have a facial & needling qualification CONVERSION COURSE INFORMATION
Once enrolled you need to send your certificates. If you don't send your certificates you will not be eligible for the Zoom observation and therefore the certificate
